Terms of Service

Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Parkie ("we", "us") for using the Parkie apps for iPhone and Android and parkieapp.com (together, "Parkie"). By creating an account or using Parkie, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Parkie.

1. Who can use Parkie

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you. You can't use Parkie if we've banned you before or if the law doesn't allow you to.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Pick a username that isn't offensive, misleading, or someone else's name or brand.
  • One person per account, and don't sell, share or transfer accounts.
  • Tell us at support@parkieapp.com if you think someone else is using your account.

3. Community guidelines

Parkie is a community of theme park fans. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post, send or share anything that:

  • Harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone, including other guests, cast and team members.
  • Is hateful or discriminates against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics.
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic, or sexualizes minors in any way. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities (see our child safety standards).
  • Is violent, graphic, or encourages self-harm or dangerous acts.
  • Shares other people's private information (such as addresses, phone numbers or reservation details), or photos or videos of people who clearly don't want to be recorded.
  • Is spam, a scam, advertising or self-promotion, or offers to buy, sell or resell tickets, passes, Lightning Lane or Express access, or other park products.
  • Encourages breaking park rules or the law, such as line-cutting, sneaking into areas, or bypassing park ticketing systems.
  • Impersonates someone, including Parkie, a park, or park staff.
  • Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • Contains malware, or tries to hack, scrape, overload or misuse Parkie or its data.

Keep it about parks, and be kind.

4. Your content

You own what you post: photos, videos, posts, comments, reviews and ride logs ("your content"). You're responsible for it, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

So Parkie can work, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, resize and share your content in Parkie, as needed to run and improve the service and to show it to other users according to your settings. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already reshared, and backups kept for a limited time.

5. Reporting and moderation

You can report posts, comments, profiles and groups, and block people, from inside the app. Blocking hides their content from you and yours from them. We review reports, and we aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours by removing the content and, where appropriate, removing the person who posted it.

We may remove content or restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without notice. If you think we got it wrong, email support@parkieapp.com.

6. Park information

Wait times, ride status, park hours, events and similar information come from third-party sources (ThemeParks.wiki and Queue-Times.com) and from the parks. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and parks change their plans without notice. Alerts can arrive late or not at all. Always check with the park for the latest information. Crowd levels, predictions, typical waits and other estimates are guesses, not promises.

7. Safety in the parks

Follow the park's rules and staff instructions, including height and health requirements for rides, and don't use your phone where it isn't allowed or safe (for example on rides, or while driving or walking through crowds). Height and "expecting-friendly" information in Parkie is only a guide, and the park's posted requirements always win.

8. Parkie's content and trademarks

The Parkie apps, name, logo, design and badges belong to us. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell them, or scrape data from Parkie.

Parkie is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, Universal Destinations & Experiences, United Parks & Resorts, or any other park operator. Park, attraction and event names, logos and images belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using Parkie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if we stop offering Parkie. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as your content license for already-shared copies, disclaimers and limits of liability) survive.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Parkie is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't make any warranties, express or implied, including that Parkie will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost time, lost park days, missed rides, tickets or reservations, or anything other users post or do. Our total liability for any claim about Parkie is limited to US $50. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breaking these terms.

11. Apple and Google

If you downloaded Parkie from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Parkie or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any claims about Parkie (including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims). If Parkie fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple, which may refund the price you paid (Parkie is free, so there is none), and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you. You confirm you aren't in a country subject to U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. government list of prohibited parties. You must also follow the App Store's terms of use.

If you downloaded Parkie from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your use of the store, and Google isn't responsible for Parkie.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't mean we give up the right to.

We may update these terms. If the changes are meaningful, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Parkie after that means you accept the new terms.
